Hillcrest Montessori Elementary School (HMES) offers an arts-focused education for students from Kindergarten through Grade 6. Our Visual Arts Program encompasses painting, sculpture, photography, and digital art. Furthermore, we provide classes in music, dance, theatre, and film.
Through these artistic avenues, our students can individually explore their identities and communicate complex emotions, thereby improving self-efficacy, creativity, and emotional intelligence. It is evident that the arts serve as a unifying force, fostering empathy, connections, and cultural understanding. They create shared experiences that strengthen the school community as a whole.
