The HMA Parent Handbook is a valuable resource designed to help families understand the policies, procedures, expectations, and routines that support our school community. It provides important information about communication, attendance, safety, uniforms, daily routines, student responsibilities, and family engagement. We encourage all parents to review the handbook carefully and keep it available throughout the school year.

At Hillcrest Montessori Academy, we believe that positive behaviour, respect, and responsibility are essential to a successful learning community. The Student Code of Conduct & Discipline provides clear expectations for student behaviour and outlines how we work together to address concerns. It encourages accountability, kindness, self-discipline, and respectful relationships while supporting every student’s growth and well-being.

The Hillcrest Montessori Academy Fundraising Association brings families, staff, and community members together to support meaningful initiatives that enrich student learning and school life. Through fundraising events and community partnerships, the Association helps provide additional opportunities, resources, and experiences for our students. It encourages family involvement, strengthens our school community, and supports the continued growth and success of HMA. ”

The HMA School Council provides a meaningful opportunity for parents, staff, and school leadership to work together in support of student success and a strong school community. The 2026–2027 School Supplies List provides families with the materials students will need to begin the school year prepared and ready to learn. We encourage families to review the list carefully and label all personal belongings with the student’s name. Preparing supplies in advance helps create an organized, comfortable, and successful start to the school year.”

The HMA School Dress Code supports a professional, comfortable, and inclusive learning environment while helping students develop a sense of belonging and school pride. Families are encouraged to review the dress code carefully and ensure students arrive appropriately dressed each day. Following these guidelines promotes consistency, confidence, safety, and readiness for learning throughout the school year.
