Preschool

Our preschool programs focus on developing language and literacy skills through engaging activities and materials. Through phonics, vocabulary building, reading, and writing exercises, we lay a strong foundation for effective communication and lifelong literacy. We offer a warm and nurturing environment with a professional and well-trained, experienced faculty. 

ECDP/Prekindergarten

Born in 2019

Our pre- Kindergarten environments promote environments where Children are given lessons individually or in small groups. They work on self help skills such as cutting raw fruits and vegetables, sweeping and dusting, carrying pitchers of water, and pouring liquids with barely a drop spilled. Activities on the shelves help children develop a sense of order for logical thinking and problem solving, and thereby promoting independence.

Kindergarten

Born in 2018

Our kindergarten classrooms, also known as the Children’s House, is made up of 16 to 20 children aged four to six. The multi-age environment gives children the opportunity to learn from others. Children are given lessons individually or in small groups and are encouraged to explore materials and activities carefully selected and sequenced to cultivate independence and concentration.

PUF Kindergarten

2.8+ years by September, 2023

This is a child-centred, play-based and developmentally appropriate program that provides a language-rich learning environment that offers intervention programs for children diagnosed with mild, moderate to severe language delay and/or disability by a qualified professional (pediatrician, psychiatrist, psychologist, speech-language pathologist)The children have individual and group programming that are tailored to improve the children’s language and communication strategies including early literacy and numeracy skills, physical activities and social skills, and self-regulating strategies. 

Elementary

Grade 1 to Grade 6

Our Elementary Montessori Program is divided into two levels: Lower Elementary (6-9-year-olds) and Upper Elementary (9-12-year-olds). Each level is a multi-age community where students collaborate with others of different ages and abilities, learning to accomplish a goal cooperatively. This process encourages the child to contribute ideas, listen to others, and learn to compromise. 

Private Tutoring

Kindergarten - Grade 6

Offering one-on-one Montessori tutoring in Reading, Writing, and Math for students K-12, regardless of enrollment at Hillcrest Montessori Elementary. Our approach bridges gaps using didactic materials, transitioning from concrete to abstract understanding.

  • Annual Registration: $50
  • Block of 8 classes: $40/class (60 minutes each)
  • Material Fee: $40 for 8 classes.
  • Prior sign-up required for the 8-class block.
