Accountability & Reporting

Hillcrest Montessori Elementary School is an accredited independent Not for Profit school through Alberta Education, therefore the Alberta Program of Studies is followed within our Montessori principles and the school receives some government funding.

HMES maintains both Montessori teaching practices and Government of Alberta accreditation.

As an accredited independent school, HMES staff and administration complete a Three-Year Education Plan and Annual Education Results Report in collaboration with the Fort McMurray Montessori Foundation Board of Directors. The reports showcase our goals.
