Nested by the Birchwood trails in Thickwood, HMES offers a stimulating outdoor enrichment that provides children with regular access to natural spaces, fostering curiosity and hands-on exploration.
The Montessori approach to learning, in its most authentic understanding, is the framework of our educational program. We understand that Maria Montessori’s methods and materials are a logical system based on fundamental principles, not a closed or rigid system. We commit to applying the words, wisdom, and practical advice of Maria Montessori as the lens through which we select, design, and evaluate our program and our curriculum.
